Villa Marta is located in the council of Llanes, specifically in the parish of Ardisana, which has only 335 neighbors. The main local activity continues to be the primary sector although the tertiary sector earns whole, with rural tourism offers, which help to diversify and maintain local wealth. This rural offer is presented as a variant to be exploited in the coming years with energy efficiency policies and respect for the environment as is our mission. The government has already set up subsidy plans for this purpose, as well as European programs such as the Leader Funds, which have granted us a grant published in the Bopa on November 3, 2017.
The town stands out as a strategic enclave, since it is halfway between the beach and the peaks of Europe. Well connected with dual lane regional roads such as the AS-115, recently resurfaced in June 2015, which links Posada de Llanes with the tall hortiguero. Half way we find the deviation at the height of the bridge that takes us to Palacio de Ardisana, where Villa Marta is located. Attached is a Google Maps capture for easy description.
